Well it is good to see that all these sister stations are alike, this collecting of points is a joke as far as I am concerned. Go to buy something and it is sold out b4 you can bid. PISS ON IT from now on.

ReplyDeleteI just want to let you know that the people out here in the real world think that the " Jack of Clubs " compition that you are presently running is a joke. Here we are collecting these points to bid on things that you have in your store, for example the DVD Ice Age The Meltdown was on sale at 9.45am this morning ( Thursday ) and at 9.45am on the same morning it is SOLD OUT.
Do you want to explain that to us LOYAL collectors of points out here, do you only have one of each prize, we think so, WHAT A JOKE this is. What is the point of collecting these points when things are sold out before you put them up for people to bid on.
I look forward to hearing back from you on this matter, or maybe you are too busy thinking of other ways to piss us all off out here.

ReplyDeleteNo offense to you or anything but keep in mind that it is essentially like a "Be caller #13" type of thing. The radio station doesn't owe you anything. It's a lil frustrating at times but I have gotten lots of really good things from this site.
You just need to understand that there's lots of people collecting points and lots of people want all the same stuff. Just chill man

ReplyDeleteMy daughter got Marshy's certificates yesterday, and her hubby bought a belt buckle. I've managed to snag prizes from Y101, too. You just have to be in the right place at the right time - much like the "be caller number #" contests. I never won anything that way.
ReplyDeleteThis is much better, in my opinion, and I hope they keep it up.
I think (not 100% sure tho) that the inventory levels for Y101 and Chez are the same. So by that I mean to say that if they have 5 copies, and all 5 copies sell immediately on Chez, then they're sold for y101 as well.

That is why some people, including myself, are annoyed or upset that the Y101 store is always empty (except for white t-shirts, none of which are in my size). Y101 is not doing what it promised. Instead of waiting on phone lines we're sitting on a web page hoping to be there when a few useful items are put "for sale".

I'm amazed this constantly needs to be explained to people who have paid NOTHING and are under no obligation to keep collecting.

I don't think the stations are scamming us or that it's fixed. Rather I think people are accumulating points much faster than they anticipated and the resulting demand for prizes is much higher than anticipated.

ReplyDeleteeyeluvku, I agree that people should be able to voice their opinions, and sure some people gripe now and then, but when you come here and see all these complaints about how this is rigged/unfair/etc, it gets rather troublesome and annoying.
ReplyDeleteLets not forget that this is a fairly new thing for the stations as it has only been operable for the last few months. Some things take a while to get off their feet and running properly. Nowhere does it say that everyone will get what they want, or that everyone will win. It's a first come first serve basis, and with thousands of people using these bonus code sites the odds aren't in your favour. Don't forget that none of you have paid a single cent to use these sites or dedicated any time into making these systems work better.
I share your frustrations. I too see sold out on all the good prizes in the store, just like everyone else. So please, lets just have some fun with this and stop with all the bitching and complaining. Its not getting anyone anywhere complaining to a bunch of people who are in the same position as yourself, and can't fix the problem.
A thought ... Perhaps someone could post the "day in the Country code amongst the complaints. I for one would like the points
