His needs are simple but strict: a big bowl of fresh milk for breakfast, a free-range mouse for lunch, and a couple sardines or a can of albacore tuna for supper. He also requires a nightly serving of catnip while he unwinds listening to the tunes of Cat Stevens or Peter Criss of KISS. @Mr.E he doesn't sound too bad I have one here that is really bossy. She wants what she wants and she wants when she wants it and she gets highly indignant if I don't respond immediately. She likes to go out the side door, in check her bowl, out the front door, in check her bowl, and this goes on probably about 15 times a day every day even when it's raining, snowing whatever...

ReplyDeleteI got a kick out of your profile entry: "new country (no twangy stuff)"! I have to agree. I'm not a big country music fan but the twangy songs are certainly low on my list.
Many moons ago, I was subjected to a lot of country music because that's all my folks listened to. Y101 plays a lot of these old classics Sunday morning and interestingly, hardly any of them are twangy! Where the heck did this twang come from?!

ReplyDeleteI just checked and Y101 has now (unnecessarily) killed all the Brad Paisley codes. They were all still alive after 6pm, even though the contest ended at 6pm (effectively with the 5pm word). I suspect that their computer peeps set a 7pm expiry for all Paisley bonus codes today.
What can you do? Probably not much. But seriously-concerned members would do well to complain that contests AND points are being biased towards people who largely don't work during the day. Many working members cannot access the website during the day due to their employers' policies. There was no need to make the Paisley codes expire before midnight.
