In 1981 in won a Kawasaki KZ305 motorcycle in a contest held by Columbia Records. When I was contacted by the owner of WheelSport Kawasaki to make arrangements for delivery of the bike, he asked if I had any experience driving a motorcycle. I replied yes, and he stated that the KZ305 was a beginner's bike and told me he would try to get me a better bike, he did, he called me back a day or two later stating he had convinced Kawasaki to upgrade the prize to a KZ440, a slightly larger and more powerful bike. :-)
